This fabulous fellow joined us half way into the Trek at the Snowline of the Greater Himalayas. We assume he was a shepherds dog taking a little AWOL! He was so friendly .. and protective. While in our tents and in the still of the cold night he barked his loudest barks to frighten away the bears - or was it a ploy to get us to invite him into a tent and provide a warm body against which to sleep on a freezing night? He joined members of our team who climbed the extra 900m to Indaharah pass - effortlessly of course - and then later joined us at the cottages for a few nights before returning to his mountain home. Not before he found a few bears to bark at throughout the night....with his booming bark!
